Kieran has been approached by a several GP surgeries in the constituency regarding their plans to move into new buildings so they can deliver a wider range of primary care and diagnostic services for local residents.
Martin's Oak Surgery in Battle is situated in an historic building which, while well run, is simply not fit for its 8000+ patients. Oldwood Surgery in Robertsbridge has submitted plans for a new state-of-the-art healthcare centre, where it will be able to train and employ more GPs and deliver better services for patients across the constituency.
Kieran said he was "delighted with the Minister's response and looks forward to meeting with him soon to discuss how the Government can support new GP practices going forward”.
