I've been lucky to take breaks from campaigning in some great pubs locally! The hospitality trade is a really important part of the local economy and I have heard loud and clear that times are tough even with steps to help for example with savings on business rates.
Thanks to the likes of Patrick at the The New Inn Westfield that spoke to me and Cllr Hamish Munro about the challenges and places like Chequers Inn in Battle who have kept us going between campaign sessions !
